Inspirita Dance is a grounded joyful moving body/mind/spirit practice. “Dancing soles to soul.”
Each session is one hour in total - 50 minutes of free movement to a range of music, with the remaining 10 minutes of the session used for relaxation, reflective writing, or drawing.
They are designed for the young at heart and possibly mature of body and are suitable for anyone with a desire to dance. No experience is necessary, there is no choreography or steps to keep up with and no performance is required!
Please wear very comfortable layers of clothing. We generally move in bare feet. You need to bring a water bottle and if you have a journal please bring it with you.
You can expect a sense of being re-gathered, of peace and of renewed energy, plus a more fit and flexible body.
Inspirita Dance can be done as one-off sessions and done regularly and grows into a lifelong practice that can be danced at home as well as in a session.
