Farmers’ Markets NZ Conference 2nd - 3rd of July - 'Feeding Our Communities'.
Master Chef winner 2011 Nadia Lim will talk about her outlook on what's on our table. She does not encourage diet fads - eating healthy has to be fun and enjoyable to last a lifetime! Find out her favourite food philosophies at the 'feeding our communities' conference on the 2nd of July in Parnell.
Feeding our communities will be the focus as Farmers’ Markets New Zealand celebrate over a decade of supplying local produce to communities from Invercargill to Bay of Islands. Parnell Farmers' Market in Auckland will provide the venue where a variety of topics including the current status of the Food Bill, 'Teaching our Children' and 'Community Gardens' will be the focus for two days of eating and drinking locally. The Taste Farmers' Markets 2012 Awards Dinner and presentation will open the conference on the Sunday evening as we announce the winners of the 2012 Awards and celebrate the real food producers of New Zealand who sell their products at Farmers' Markets nationwide.
