Urbantramper are a 5-piece ‘future folk’ band based in Wellington.
Urbantramper has been performing and recording for 8 years with shows all around New Zealand alongside bands such as Calexico, Cut off your Hands, So So Modern, Eileen Rose and Blitzen Trapper. They are known for their psychedelic jams, soulful ballads and driving beats.
They have released four albums: ‘To the future on foot’ (2004); ‘The Treeninja Always Gets Through’ (2005); ‘Tokon & The Colours’ (2007); and ‘Rise & ride toward’ 2009 – which was celebrated with a sold out tour of New Zealand in November.
